In 2006, excited and intrigued by his performances, three of Christopher’s college friends named themselves "Houli Fans,” and started a club aimed at gathering fellow students to attend Christopher’s organ recitals and to cheer and shout their enthusiastic support. Most of these students had never experienced an organ recital before supporting their friend. By his senior year, when he performed with the Hartford Symphony, throngs of students rode busses to the orchestra hall where they rained down loud cheers from the balcony.

“Houli fans” has extended onto Facebook, where Christopher has fans from around the globe. Its members are of any age, but the newest frequently come from the ranks of aspiring young organists who are excited by his performances (both live and on YouTube) which offer electricity and audience friendly accessibility.
